New York Times: December 19th, 2017 – NY Times highlights the annual tea expo in Flushing by Fang Gourmet Tea, recommending it “for tea devotees, this little shop is the place to be right now.” For 15 years, it has been the de facto gathering place for the New York region’s most serious tea enthusiasts.


New York Times: November 11th, 2017 – At PappaRich in Flushing, Queens, the glass of tea looks almost a foot tall. PappaRich, A Malaysian restaurant on Prince St, PappaRich is a NYT Critic’s Pick. The curry laksa, roti canai, and char kway teow are recommended.


QNS: October 25th, 2017 – Flushing’s local food scene recently received a boost from the Michelin Guide, which awarded the 2018 Bib Gourmand distinction to four local restaurants: Hunan Kitchen of Grand Sichuan, Dumpling Galaxy, Hahm Ji Bach, and Hunan House.


Times Ledger: October 2nd, 2017 – New website shows off everything Flushing has to offer. Flushing has launched its own tourist website, flushingfantastic.nyc, filled with restaurant suggestions and transportation ideas.


Queens Examiner: September 26th, 2017 – Flushing is officially putting its small businesses on the digital map. The Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce and Asian Americans for Equality (AAFE) joined local elected officials on Thursday to unveil a new website for Flushing. The digital portal is part of a $1.55 million marketing campaign called Flushing Fantastic to promote the neighborhood’s small businesses.

NY1 News: August 11th, 2017 – Flushing has a new marketing campaign to help support small businesses. The campaign aims to showcase Flushing’s diverse community, landmarks and cultural attractions to attract visitors from New York and beyond. John Choe, the Executive Director of the Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce spoke to NY1’s Rocco Vertuccio.
