MATANGI / MAYA / M.I.A.(Documentary Screening)
Join us on March 9th, as the Queens Historical Society will host an intriguing film screening of Matangi/Maya/M.I.A. – winner of World Cinema Documentary Special Jury Award at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Matangi/Maya/M.I.A is a biographical documentary film about the life of Grammy-nominated British-Sri Lankan singer-songwriter-rapper-
The event will take place at the Queens Historical Society located at 14335 37th Avenue, Flushing, NY 11354 on March 9th at 2:30 PM. The ticket costs are $10 for regular admission and $7 for students and seniors. RSVP here.
There will also be another event on March 31st, also taking place at the Queens Historical Society called The History of the Motion Pictures in Queens and will be from 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM. For more information visit History of Motion Pictures in Queens.
